Only way a hunter can currently defeat a DK

[:1]Requirements:

1. 1x Parachute
2. 1x a good cliff or mountain or ledge to fight on
3. 1x Pro timing
4. 1x survival spec (spell reflect deterence)

Instructions:

Engage in a battle against the DK near a ledge or somewhere that has a long drop. Purposely take some hits and give the DK the idea that he is winning, make sure his deathgrip is up. A good DK will know to always deathgrip a hunter AFTER he disengages, and those with fast reflexes will most likely Deathgrip you just as you disengage.

Therefore this strategy will only work on a non retard DK who will most likely insta deathgrip you when you pop disengage. So around 10-15% hp when the DK is anxious to finish you off and starts busting his cooldowns, disengage off the ledge or cliff or wherever you are fighting and immediately pop Deterence. Because of spell reflection deterence from surv talent, instead of you getting pulled towards the DK, you will pull the DK to you (lulz ikr).

Now pop your parachute and watch as the enemy DK literally leaps off the edge to his doom.

For what? So we can spam lol steady shot? You know I reckon a DK can literally kill a surv hunter by standing in range and spamming deathcoil with his anti magic barrier up.

What if I can walk all over DK's?

then please show vids of non-handicapped classes facing you where you win every encounter?
I think DK's are the only class that I don't have a problem killing. First off, don't start the battle in melee range (derp). Strafe. When he DG, disengage. Maybe I only fight against lolbad DKs though.
^^ most dk's wait till a hunter has already disengaged, using chains of ice etc. to close the gap, that way they know we can't get away. As the OP said, good ones can catch you mid-flight as the game doesn't recognized you as moved until you land, so you can be on the outer edge of his range but if he's fast enough you can be like 50 yards away when you start getting pulled back to him.

Srsly, if you are doing this obviously you prolly don't know what i'm driving at. Anyway, OP sounds like he is mad after getting pwned at LM so he is posting this. I say l2premade.

lolol bro you trying way too hard.

It was a fun trick I stumbled upon while camping the Arcturis spawn in Grizzly hills, and i used this on the ledge where the amberpine lodge gryphons are.

You can't, so don't bother lying.
This...

DKs are 1 of only a few classes I don't worry about. Do I beat them 100% of the time? No definitely not, but I do beat them more often than not.
DKs no problem. Everything else? Definitely :)
What kind of bad DK's do you guys fight? I'm talking t2 wep DK's not some lol4/5wrathfulwithsomerandompveshoulder DK's.

I am not sure I follow what you asking?

I have basically been PvPing non-stop for the past month, so its not like I have faced 1 or 2, probably more like a hundred or so (no clue of the actual number but its how ever many I've seen in BGs over the past month, so alot...).

I guess by the sound of your last statement every single one of them must have been bad? Is that what you are imply simply because some of us said we don't have trouble against them while you do?

If you truly believe we are broken against DKs and can't beat them other than the way you have described, that is fine. I just choose to disagree.

Death Grip reflect is pretty dam funny though, eventhough in most situations it hurts us rather than helps us.

As long as you don't start the battle in melee range, you'll have the advantage. If they death grip you first then disengage. If they don't death grip first then you're already strafeing at range anyway. When they chains of ice, then conc shot. They get to close? freezing trap or scatter shot. If they break from those then wyvern sting. Really there is no reason that you should be in melee range of a DK for more than a split second.
