Blizzard Hates Hunters: Proof

Now, more than ever, I am convinced that Blizzard deliberately damaged the hunter class in order to thin out the over-populated character class. It is all a ploy to get rid of the "Legolas" hunters, and here is the "proof."

Exhibit A: Murloc Armor: Our Tier 11 set is modeled after, you guessed it, Murlocs. Murlocs are a long-standing joke within the WoW community. Murlocs are poked fun at, ostracized by players, and genuinely a laughing-stock; sound a little similar to current hunters?

Exhibit B: Ghostcrawler Spirit Beast: The lead systems designer for World of Warcraft, Ghostcrawler, has implemented another in-game slap in the face to the hunter community. A new spirit beast, named after himself, that carries around a "nerfbat." This is another symbolic gesture showing Blizzard's general disposition to the current hunter class.

These additions to the game aren't meant to be cute or fun, they are subliminal messages being sent by Blizzard to show their disdain for our class.

Im sure they are working on some sort of fix, silence doesnt mean they condemn us. It sucks I know, I just killed a shadow priest and I went from 75% to zero because of dots. Point of the matter is we just got a total overhaul, more so than other classes, talent tree redos, and a new (kinda, if I recall focus was our resource way back in alpha) resource.

Besides, your basis on hating us because of a pet and tier armor looks is... well lame. I for one dont really mind the look. It is something I feel a hunter would wear, fur and bones from our hunt. Allowing us to tame himself, well thats cool.

If youre unhappy with your class, reroll or cancel your account until its fixed.

The OP is very correct on the situation. on a daily bases guild members make fun of the hunter armor. even mages in guild are loling about killing hunters because it is funny. so yes in fact hunters are being weeded out.

Yet one more reason why i cant wait to roll a worgen hunter. I sooo cant wait to have a pet that hits with a nerfbat!

people who are fine with hunters as they are now, are casual players who don't really care.

I doubt there is one hardcore hunter player who is perfectly fine with the way hunters are right now.

i personally think they are still fun to play. But i lose interest after getting farmed by everyone in bg's. I see people go way out of their way just to kill me. Also i'm almost always the first to get focus fired down. Not because the other team is coordinated, but because they all know i'm an easy kill and want to up their score really easily.

I thought it was obvious you were being sarcastic. You were being sarcastic about the subliminal message part, while at the sametime definetly showing you were not happy with what they've done with the gear set.

But just to note for those who actually think blizz hates us, blizz puts more work into hunters than any other class. Some question this, but think about it, they go through the process of creating tameable beasts with unique abilities every xpac. They even created the spirit beasts specifically for hunting, despite the production efforts that goes into customizing each individual one's looks.
