Help with my hunter kinda

Before Cata came out, my hunter was doing good dps. I loved it and it was fun but, when cata came, i see my hunter is doing less damage than before. Now, there is no fun with tmy hunter anymore. I know that changes wont happen until the next arena season is over but should i just stay with my hunter or do i wait it out and focus on my other toons?
