A PvP newbie needs help.

Hello hunters. I have recently started PvPing with this hunter (despite being up against other skilled players while using a "underpowered" class) and ive been somewhat enjoying it. Ive never really gotten into PvP as much as now so this is a new world for me.

So far i am able to somewhat compete against most classes (warriors and feral druids being a pain in the...yeah) but i know myself that im not playing a hunter class to its maximum potential and i was wondering if maybe you can share some PvP tips with me.

Warriors. Annoying. I try my best to kite them around but they always stunlock me and rofl in my face while i sit there bashing the deterrence button hoping to survive. But all that does is delay my death. If i use disengage, BOOM. Intercept and we're back to the beggining. Is there anything i can do to increase my chance of survival and maybe, if god is watching over me, kill one? They also have a insane amount of self heals to go with their outstanding burst. Not kewl.

I also feel that Hunters are still underpowered in tems of PvP when it comes to damage. Im MM spec and my chimera shots hit for an average of 6-7k and a 16k crit if im lucky. Serpent sting does a fair amount of damage and the piercing shots dot is quite nice to have. But whats that gonna do to a plate wearing 120k hp beast? Nothing. There. And with the current state hunters are in now, focus just isnt recovering fast enough to sustain enough damage before they eventually close the gap and demolish me. Unless of course you have every button on your keyboard keybined to Cobra/Steady shot. Then focus is not a problem for you.

Right now you're probably to the point to where you thinking:
"z0mg if u lyk melee class den roll one st0p crying n00bzz."

Yes, i could do that. But i dont want to. If rather get to learn my class, be good at it, than play a class everyone now uses because it is OP in the battlegrounds. I'm always going to be a hunter. No matter what.

TL;DR

I'm struggling to kill melee classes (besides rogues) and i need some advice on how to do so. If possible, any type of PvP tip would very much be appreciated. I'm new to the PvP world.
Beating a decent warrior as MM isn't too difficult. They do have alot of gap closers but it's easy to counter them all.

First of all you can start the fight off in camo so they can't charge you, a really good warrior will shout in a range to get you out of stealth and still charge you but the majority are too stupid and will most likely just walk up to where you are, by then he should be rooted assuming you have entrapment, get a serpent sting and chimera shot off + few steady shots, as soon as he's root is about to run out, use your monkeys bad manner ability and stun him, and regain a bit more focus, throw in a kill command or arcane shot.

After he gets out of entrapment and monkey stun he will use one of his many gap closers, you will have to eat this one so pop roar of sac, he will do virtually no damage to you if you have high resilience, then disengage. As soon as you disengage he will close the gap again, but you're traps will be up. Use all you're traps including immolation and snake, and pop master's call if he got a hamstring off, and he will be entrapped again. Remember to use Chimera everytime it's up for the 5% heal.

Always save trinket for their knockdown stun, and use deterence to counter the stun from charges/intercepts. When you're in range and you know they are going to charge or intercept you any second, just pop deterence, he will charge straight into you without stunning you and then you can just wingclip and safely walk away.

Killing a warrior is all about sustained damaged while keeping him rooted or stunned.
I'd like to add here that master's call is key. Glyph it for 8 seconds of intense warrior tears. You should always have entrapment in pvp. Immolation trap is literally *free* damage, so there's no reason not to use it. If you can get him rooted for a few seconds, run away, drop another rooting trap on the way, and then pop some cooldowns to do some major damage.

If the warrior is arms, I honestly like to wait until they do their 4 second stun to use my the monkey stun. If i can use it instead to help kite, though, I will take advantage of that. Just remember to always have a trap down before you hit Master's Call. You don't want him running after you!

Edit!!!!
Also pretty sure warriors don't have an Anti-dispell talent anywhere in their talents. We can dispel enrages. They need enrages to heal and do more damage. There's your easy math problem for the day ;)
If you dont have ur trinket up or roar of sac, then using monkey stun while they use their 4 second stun is probably the best thing to do but most likely you will be saving ur trinket for the stun anyway.

Also Master's call glyph is AMAZING against DK's too, they don't expect your masters call to be up for 2 icy chains.
